    The Central Station Alarm Association and its members, in cooperation with the law enforcement community, have developed a software program known as the "False Alarm Analysis Program" (FAAP). FAAP is designed to assist in developing and measuring standardized criteria for the performance of alarm users and alarm companies in attaining false alarm immunity and assist law enforcement in the billing and collection of false alarm fines and alarm permits, thereby significantly reducing the administrative burden of law enforcement in administrating a municipal ordinance.
